Cookie Policy
How Fun Events 365 uses cookies — and the cookies we deliberately don't use.
Last updated: July 2026
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. We use cookies to make Fun Events 365 work — keeping you signed in, protecting forms, and remembering preferences such as your light/dark theme. A few trusted services we rely on (payments, spam protection, and our security edge) also set their own cookies to keep the site safe. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not profile you for marketing across other websites.
Cookies we use
| Category | Purpose | Can you turn it off? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keep you signed in, protect forms and requests from cross-site attacks (antiforgery), and hold short-lived state such as a multi-step sign-up. The site cannot function without these. | No — they're essential. |
| Functional | Remember your preferences — currently just your light/dark theme choice, so the site looks the way you left it. |
Yes — clear the fe-theme cookie in your browser and the site returns
to its default appearance.
|
| Payment (Stripe) | On payment and checkout pages only, our payment processor Stripe sets cookies to detect and prevent fraud. These load only when you're paying. | No — they protect payments. |
| Spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA) | On our contact/support form only, when reCAPTCHA is enabled, Google reCAPTCHA sets a cookie to tell real people from bots. It loads only on that form. | No — it protects the form from abuse. |
| Security & bot protection (Cloudflare) | In production, traffic passes through Cloudflare, our edge network, which sets a short-lived cookie to filter automated attacks. | No — it protects the site. |
| Advertising & analytics | We don't use any. No advertising cookies, no ad networks, and no analytics pixels that profile you across other websites. | Not applicable — none are set. |
Because we only use cookies that are necessary to run the site or remember your own preferences, we show a brief notice rather than asking you to opt in to tracking — there is no tracking to opt in to.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you from signing in or completing actions on the site. Clearing the functional theme cookie simply resets your appearance preference.
